Wave of Metrosexuality.

I am just returning from Style-N-Style, the salon near my house. I went there for a shave and had to wait for half an hour. Reason - there were 6 people before me getting their facials done. I was surprised at the fact that there are so many guys who get their facials done, in Vijayanagar area. Some how I was of opinion that north indians take more care of the looks than the south indians. Also, I could understand with a normal head massage, but facials! That was not all. There was another guy who was getting his hair on his hands removed. I just gave up. What also surprised me was that all these guys were about my generation or higher. Shucks!

Not that I am against people taking care of their skin. I am only surprised that these guys have so much patience to put a face pack, cucumber on their eyes and sit in a place for half an hour! It is not just that, in modern times, the women walk shoulder to shoulder with men. Now men are challanging women in their area of authority - unlimited time for unncessary activity.

Forget it!

It seems that for us bangaloreans there is no way to own our own house. I dont care what the world has to say about "being 27 and still living with parents". For me, it is affordable and comfortable.... all the more now. :-)

Why. . .

There are times when you are engaged in something which needs you to stand close to the wall, stare at it, you have nothing running in your mind and all you can do is to look at the ground once in a while. And there is a guy who is standing right next to you doing the same thing. How often do you turn to see who it is? A lot? Most times?
Why do you do that? How does it make a difference who it is?
